I am pleased to participate in the first week of SLC Season 21. This week ,we will be learning cleansing, face types and implements necessary to perform good makeup.. So Let's start,

As established in the previous module, analyze what type of skin you have, how you should take care of it, and what type of products you should use for that type of skin.

Skin care is very important which we mostly ignore. To take care of skin first we need to know about skin and use products according to our skin so that it works quickly for skin. The first thing we need to know about our skin is our skin type. There are many skin types in the world. Skin is divided into different types based on the reaction to different skin products (sensitive skin) and the production of serum or oil. My skin type is dry. That means my skin produces less oil or serum. Because of which my skin is always rough. My skin needs special care as it is dry and I have to keep the skin moisturized all the time. Below is how dry skin should be taken care of and what I follow

• The first step in any skincare routine is cleansing. Dry skin also needs cleansing. Cleansing not only removes dirt from the skin, it also kills various micro-organisms or bacteria on the skin.
• We have to use separate towel for face skin.
• You have to clean your face with regular face wash and you have to be aware in the selection of face wash. Because you cannot use face wash with more alkali for dry skin.
• Use a scrubber at least once a week to remove dead skin cells.
• The most important thing is the moisturizer. You should use moisturizer every day.

I am sharing with you all the products that I use to take care of my dry skin. I use Clean & Clear's Foaming Face Wash for regular face cleansing. Also suitable face wash for dry skin is "Simple" face wash. This face wash does not contain any alkali. It is best to use this face wash for healthy skin. This face wash contains Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E which make the skin receptive to serum or oil deficiency for rough skin.

Scrub Face wash

After cleansing, the product I will share with you now is a scrubber by "Garnier". The less I praise this scrubber the less it seems. One of the best products I have ever used is this scrubber. We all know we should scrub at least once a week. By doing this, I remove the dead cells of my skin.

Finally I will write about the product that is very important for my skin. Moisturizer, I have used different brands of moisturizer till now but here I will write about "Simple" Hydrating Light Moisturizer. It hydrates the skin for up to 12 hours.I also use Garnier's Cleansing Water to prep my skin before makeup. Cleansing the face with a cleanser before applying makeup and cleansing after makeup is very important. If you don't clean your face well, makeup doesn't set and if you don't clean your face well after makeup, there is a possibility of damage to the skin.

Knowing the face shape is very important. We can understand the shape of a person's face by looking at it. To determine the shape of the face, it is usually necessary to measure from the muzzle to the hairline of the forehead. You can see my face and understand that it is oval shape.
Below I mention all the areas that need to be contoured and highlighted on an oval shaped face. I want to say contouring is the finest art ever. Through this you can change the shape of your face. Another interesting thing is that the makeup artists of our country do contouring on both sides of the nose as a result of which it does not look very sharp. Below I have outlined the contouring and highlighting spots of my face through a photo. Highlighting is done on T-zone in makeup. And contouring should be done on both sides of the cheeks. According to the implements necessary to achieve good makeup, which of them you knew before and which ones you use frequently; Did you use it correctly? Which ones do you think are really essential when putting on makeup. Explain your answer.

My knowledge of makeup is limited. When the whole world came to a standstill due to covid-19 lockdown, I watched online makeup videos and bought those makeup products online and practiced them at home. But later again due to busy work, I moved away from makeup, but I am hopeful that after completing this challenge, as my knowledge will increase, the attraction towards makeup will return again. Since I have been trying to learn about these makeup brushes for quite some time, I am pretty much familiar with all types of makeup brushes. To be very honest I have never used Cat's tongue brush. Rounded Cut brush is my most used of these brushes due to busy schedule. Because with the help of this brush you can use not only blush but also compact powder. After completing the makeup, any excess product can be removed with this brush. I love this brush because it can basically apply powder products. Since I apply less eye makeup, the use of eye brushes is relatively less. I think every girl must apply highlighter with a sponge before going out. I have different shapes and types of sponges that I use to apply different products, including highlights and compact powders.

No I didn't know how to use them properly, even I still tell you I use highlighter with a round card brush but every brush set has a separate highlighter brush for using highlighter. So I've been using this brush the wrong way ever. Among all these implements, the one that seems to be the most essential is the Beauty Blender. With Beauty Blender you can apply foundation, concealer, contour and even powdery products when dry so I consider Beauty Blender to be the mother of all makeup applicators.

Thank you for asking this question. If any problem or imperfection is found after completing any makeup, it should be fixed with caution without fear. Talking about concealer, it is used to hide any type of blemishes. It is available in different colors according to people's skintone. Consider is also sold in liquid and powder forms. I always use liquid concealer. Any makeup product needs to be blended after applying it to the skin. In most cases, two separate implements are required for applying and blending makeup products.

^{Concealer Brush}

• I use a brush to apply concealer. The makeup brush set includes a concealer brush to apply. You can buy this brush separately. In the market it is known as concealer brush. After applying the liquid concealer with a brush, I blend it.

• I use beauty blender or puff for blending. Its soft texture helps blend edges, creating an eye-catching transition between concealer and skin for a natural finish. Before using the beauty blender, immerse it in water and then squeeze out the water. It won't blend liquid concealer unless wetted with water.
