Mainframe – making your privacy real
Have you ever thought about whether your personal messages that you exchange on the Internet are really private? Even if they don’t have anything compromising in themselves, the fact that someone else can easily seize them is very unpleasant for everyone. Security in various messengers is mostly a kind of illusion. In fact, your privacy and anonymity are absolutely unsecured. Even such simple data, to whom your message is addressed, can be stolen and used in a scam. In addition, the centralization, for example, a cloud, doesn't guarantee the safety of your files. It means that with a complete fall of the server, you can’t restore your data in any way. Of course, you won’t stop using all applications and sites that have become part of your everyday life, even though they are imperfect in the protection of your private information. You just do not have any other choice. But in fact, you did not have it. Now we all have a chance to obtain privacy and inviolability of our private life on the Internet with the help of an alternative platform, which we are going to discuss right now.
The Mainframe is primarily the security of messaging, which no outsider can get remotely. The solution of all the above-mentioned problems is achieved through the use of a blockchain system, which allows the system to be completely decentralized. The platform is really unique thanks to 5 special features.
The first feature is reliable Encryption of all your content. No stranger, government service or just a hacker, won’t be able to crack your e-correspondence. This also works for group chats, where each participant has access to the chat, but no one else but them.
Secondly, it's Dark Routing. Its main task is to prevent any attempt to track the path of your messages. Nobody can find a connection between you and your interlocutor. And this is the powerful argument for the anonymity of communication.
The third feature is Incentivization. In fact, this is the stimulation of the work of nodes by using tokens. This is an economic model that will support the functioning of the entire system. Each node that participates in maintaining the platform's performance by performing the required functions will be rewarded with a token.
The fourth feature is the P2P Architecture of the Network. Briefly, thanks to the decentralized storage of data, the fall of several nodes of the system won’t harm it. The network will always remain operational, and only the most global cataclysm can completely stop it. So it means that you won’t be able to lose your important data, which is stored in the blockchain.
And the last, but not the least feature at number 5 is Compatibility. Any other system that wants to protect the privacy of its users can easily use Mainframe . In addition, right now you can try the all-working product - the Onyx application, which is compatible with most operating systems.
The project’s team is quite serious. All of them, of course, people with great experience and very colorful (for example, Shane Howley). CEO Mick Hagen is the creator of a successful project Zinch, as well as Spatch (2013), which grew into the Mainframe. However, each member deserves the attention, and if you are interested in this information, you can read all the details on the official website.
Project Team:
The MFT Token, created as ERC20, will be used both for the operation of the entire Mainframe system and for the various purchases that are possible in future platform additions (a large number of which can be developed and integrated into the platform). Hard cap, 30 thousand ETH, was almost assembled on private sales, after which the team announced that there will not be a crowdsale, but instead, it will be the airdrop of the remaining tokens on a sum of 3000 ETH. From 10 billion of tokens (the total amount), the half is allocated for sale.
In conclusion, it should be noted that Mainframe is a project that gained great popularity. The platform has an experienced team and already a ready product Onyx (the alpha version from December 2017), but even the idea of ensuring the privacy on the Internet is very important for the modern world.
