Why do we use cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin? Some might say that the decentralized nature of cryptocurrency appeals to them. Others might say that the (not-so) anonymous nature of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are what draws them. Others still may be motivated by the speed and transparency of the blockchain, no matter which cryptocurrency is used as a mining reward. But there are problems with some modern cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin.
