Strikes a chord of Happiness.
In my heart. A heart growing in gratitude.
For friends and family. Nature. My existance on Earth. ~Ally.
Yesterday was such a Beautiful Day for me here in Sydney.
It was the day when the stars conspired to bring me into this earthly world, so many earth years ago. A day filled with so many magical moments. I'd like to share just one of them for now as it illustrates something more about 'waiting.'
On my early morning walk, I met a cat: Sitting quietly on a stone fence. Her tortoice shell marking were muted. Fur, soft and very fluffy. And her eyes were the brightest emerald green.
I held out my hand to her and she invited me to sit beside her. She like the attention for a while and then jumped down. Softly purring to my feet: It was time to go.
She walked with me for a while. Unsure of her boundary, she gradually came to a stop. I was going to come back a different way but returned to see her again. She was waiting. Most likely not for me, but she showed me what it is to simply wait: With presence. Watching what happens in life all around. Within that boundary.
Rumi tells us that patience is more than simply waiting and gives us some poetic examples of 'foreseeing.' A special surprise awaits the person who can give the best example of this 'forseeing' ~ From their own experience, impressions or insight from Nature's Beauty.
Patience is not sitting and waiting, it is foreseeing.
It is looking at the thorn and seeing the rose.
Looking at the night and seeing the day.
Moon needs time to become full.
~Rumi.

Happy Birthday to you, dear friend! I love the beauty you share with us. I think everyone who plants a seed has the gift of forseeing, and as we go into autumn here in North America our vision and patience is being rewarded with the fruits of our springtime vision. Tip!
Thank you SO very much Melinda. A birthday is such a special time to give and receive from our friends ~ Both our offline and online friends. Not just the material 'presents' but the caring that is expressed between us.
And thanks so much for your example of 'foreseeing.' It's so true: Everyone who plants a seed is forseeing that that seed will sprout and eventually grow into whatever the blueprint was within that seed. I love your vision of autumn harvesting from the fruits of your springtime vision. 🦋
And many many thanks for the tip. May the blessing be returned to you a thousand fold. 🦋
A surprise will be on its way to you soon Melinda for your beautiful illustration of foreseeing. 🦋
You are so generous! And sent by way of boomerang! Thanks, sweetie. That was a delightful surprise!

To always live in heaven
And a lot of friends were in circles.
May your love never run out of you
And you know what it means to Live!
Sorry for being late but my words always come from the bottom of my heart :)) Kisses and hugs my dear friend ;)
Thank you so very much for your beautiful wishes and words Margaret.
The last few days have felt rather 'heavenly', catching up with friends and opening to the love all around. I love that you say: 'And you know what it means to Live!' ~ As this would be my deepest wish.
You are so welcome ;)))) I am so glad that you like it ;))
A heart growing in gratitude. That's how we should feel every day! Thanks for being so inspirational, happy birthday, Alison!
Thanks so much for your wishes Isabel. I'm sure it's possible: For our hearts to keep growing in gratitude more and more every day. 🦋
Yes, indeed. And spread seed of hope and gratitude around us. Cheers, my dear Alison!
Your posts are so uplifting and insightful. Thank you for sharing!
"Moon needs time to become full." What an excellent quote / thought / reminder!
It's always a pleasure to share imagery here Samantha ~ And for me extend what I might have done in the way of writing.
In an age where we are surrounded by and acted upon by 'haste' ~ We can't make the moon 'hurry up' and become full any faster than it will. Such a relief to feel this. 🦋
It was a surely a relief when I realized controlling things was an illusion. Having more of a capacity of letting things be and letting them work out in their own time has served me well in the last couple years...in a time when my life has seemed the most "out of control".

Thanks so much for all the golden glowing love Jay. 🦋
Sounds wonderful :)
Really was Chris.
But the fun part of the day was coming home and seeing the total chaos created in our backyard, which with all the autumn leaf litter mulch has become a mamma bush turkey's paradise. To be continued in my next article. 🦋
love the water drops too:) beautiful
Water droplets always seem to bring an extra touch of magic to natural beauty. So pleased you like them on the blossoms here @blackvelvetroses 🦋
A beautiful photo and such a sweet story
And a belated Happy Birthday
Thanks so much Jay. The cat story is pretty tame compared to the next. Are you familiar with bush turkeys? 🦋
Yes i have heard of them but never come in contact with them
You wouldn't want to. It's hard to imagine how one single bush turkey can create such devastation. It's taking literally hours and hours to restore our garden, after just one bush turkey keeps returning day after day to kick up some more mulch. 🦋
How beautiful, Ally- both the words and the image. Also, the image in my mind I have of the cat, sitting, waiting and waving good-bye.
That is so awesome to grab three challenges with one stone! Bravo! I am having a time of it keeping up with a few!
I LOVE being part of some of the challenges Denise. Though, like a kid in a candy store, it can be quite overwhelming having so many delectable choices. I still hope to share something of our farmers' markets with you sometime soon. 🦋
It's bound to be a 'Beautiful Day' ~ And being on a Sunday, I'll be able to share some of the 'Sunday Scent Experience' as well. There's always a lot of 'Nature's Beauty' at the flower stand and maybe someone will have some white goodies there as well for 'White is White' (As Sunday is 'Anything Goes.') 🦋
So happy that you could see the green eyed cat just sitting, waiting and having to say 'good-bye' or hopefully it was more like 'au revoir' ~ Till we meet again. Also pleased that you liked the simple words for this image The arrangement was made at the end of the day when all the flowers I'd been using in an essemblage were just placed back into water. 🦋
I love visiting your posts. You never disappoint.
Thanks so much Denise.
