Government control and Fascism
The news media has never been fair and balanced like they like to purport. There has always been right and left wing news sources. For instance, I remember when the NY Times called Reagan the "Teflon President." True fair and balanced would follow Ayn Rand's principal of 'A' = 'A'.
The idea of the government forcing companies to be fair and balanced is repugnant. But Google, Facebook, and Twitter were built with tax payer money just like the Internet was built by DARPA in the 1970's. If an agency of the government pays for something, then they have the right to dictate the policy of what they paid for.
I realize that it sounds like I am going in circles, but I believe that a truly private company has the right to determine their own policies. On the other hand, a government created and funded monopoly must follow the dictates of the source of their funding. In other words, Google was created with CIA funds, thus they must follow CIA dictates which should follow Congressional dictates.
The source of this argument is, "Follow the Money." A private company that was created from totally private funds should be allowed to service and promote their own beliefs. It's like the cake company being forced to create a cake for what the Bible call SIN. The government has no right to force a company to go against their beliefs.
When the government forces a company to do something, that is the same as Fascism! If Google, Facebook, and Twitter which were created with tax payer money want to be free of government interference, then they should be forced to pay back to the government with interest the funds that were used to start them.
As a Libertarian I believe in following the Constitution and also believe in following the dictates of the Bible. The Fascists believe in following Satan with their beliefs of total government control of every aspect of your life. This is the rule of Satan and will be the demise of of our country. True freedom comes from following the dictates of the Bible and Loving the Lord with all of your heart.

You have choices and can pick and choose to follow and support what you want. When the government takes away that choice, you are living under a Fascist Dictatorship!
