<3 art has always been a bit of a selfindulgance show it's the nature of the beast as one want to be heard, but in the last few decades or so it has become this totally insular thing . or at least it feels like it. There is so little communication goin on it has become the ego cult of the individual and i truly believe that it is ne of the reasons things have become so repetitive on all art forms . I mean we life in the remake era there is so little really new stuff coming out, it is sad ;/
