MacroThursday "Louisiana Iris" by Sunscape
Surprise, surprise, surprise! I just happened to notice that a Louisiana Iris that I had planted nearly 14 years ago, decided to bloom. It hasn't flowered in that many years and actually I thought of pulling it out. Something must have changed in the structure of that bed for it to revive itself, or, it felt my vibes about doing it in. ; - )
It really was a joy to see it again so of course, I had to share it with you all. Enjoy!
Thank you @homeartpictures for this fun #macrothursday photo challenge.
Until next time, this is Sunscape...

That beautiful😍
Thank you, dear.
You are welcome dear💜
What a lovely blossom! I'm glad it realized that it needed to step up and do what flowers are intended to do!
It was such a surprise too. I think it knew it was outta there if it didn't lol.
Oh! This is a stunner! Very beautiful colors!
Thanks, I liked her too.
Ohhhh, that's gorgeous! Love the faint tint of colour at its edges... and throughout... That first shot is a wonderful abstract!
Thank you, ackhoo, I love the subtle shading in this Iris too.
