The Closeup
I love photography.
I love the process of setting up the perfect photo, taking the photo and the satisfaction of creating a great photo. I also love being transported into another world when looking at other people's stunning pictures that have captured a brilliant moment in time.
My first SLR was a trusty Minolta. I loved that camera. It travelled the world with me and I took fantastic photos with slide film with the handful of lenses that I own.
I have a wonderful photo of the Rialto bridge in Venice, taken just at the right time of day, at sunset in low light and with a tripod........ I've had it blown up to poster size and it has hung on the wall in our house for years....... it's stunning....... and it's also a great memory.
When Sony bought out Konica Minolta, I upgraded my camera body to a DSLR so that I could continue to use my Tamron and Sigma lenses.
However, I've recently gotten interested to snap pics that interest me on my iPhone. While not up to scratch, quality wise, of my Sony camera, the pictures are still pretty darn good.
Also, it's easier to pull my phone out and snap a shot off than going back to my car and pulling out my camera bag. Convenience is everything now isn't it?
One of my signature photo styles has always been the closeup. I have a great macro lense on my DSLR, but I've been having a go recently at recreating this with my iPhone.
Here are a few pics from around my house.
Enjoy!
Then ur house really have a nyc and colourful view...will come there to take photos one of these days.
With thanks. We live in a house in the suburbs of Melbourne. It does have a garden and we live across the road from a park. There is lots of green around us. Cheers.
Wow that's lovely to know.
