Today I have a collection of some of my favourite winged, flying beasts from here in the jungle. The art of flight is a magical gift to be blessed with and these beautiful creatures exemplify that in fine style.

Great shots Sally! Is the blue dacnis standing on a flowering bird of paradise plant native to your jungle?
It is widespread in the South American region, and also found in Nicaragua, Trinidad, and Panama. It’s really beautiful isn’t it!
