Review: Lunch box
Another product review!
I recently ordered a lunch box as I realised tupperware just wasn't cutting it anymore, I needed something more!
So, I went onto Amazon and found a cute lunchbox, and I'm really happy with it.
It was £18.39 which is 91.95 STEEM (I think).
The inside is stainless steel so I don't have to worry about it breaking or staining really, just need to make sure I don't put it in the microwave.
how it was packaged
Here's how it came out of the box! It came in its little thermal bag which I will show in another picture. It came fully "assembled". I liked this presentation as it was protected by its bag in transport.
the lunchbox
As you can see, the lunchbox has the main stainless steel section, which has a non-removable divider in almost the middle part. I like this as I don't want to buy dividers myself and prefer this style. There's also a small plastic tray that sits on top of this section, the lid, and it came with a travel spork (spoon & fork combined into one).
the thermal bag
Here is its little thermal bag that it came in. It felt good quality and fit the box perfectly. It also matched its colours well.
As you can see, the brand is "Lille Home" (although I did struggle with that cursive "L"), and the box itself is listed as 920 millilitres.
the spork
As I mentioned before, it came with this small spork, which I thought was a nice touch, and lucky as my forks are too long for this lunchbox. The spork comes apart at the handle, which is good for washing up!
Slight issue
I thought it was a bit weird but the spoon seemed to have a bit of dirt or glue? on it when it arrived. I tried to wash this off but it's almost like it was slightly scratched. Oh well, I'm still happy with it!
packed up
After giving all the pieces a good wash, I decided to use the lunchbox for my dinner! To sit at my desk and eat ... Here you can see I used the top section for some cucumber, and I added in a teaspoon (as it fit there). I think I would add some fruit in the other section here, but I didn't have any.
the main!
For my dinner, I used the largest section for my savoury. I had a spinach banchan (Korean inspired), hashbrown-like potato balls (an experiment that didn't go well) and hard-boiled egg with mayonnaise. In my sweet section, I put some Greek yoghurt and strawberry jam.
Overall
I really like this lunchbox and will definitely be keeping it! It's a good value for the price, and I would recommend if you're looking for one.
