Utah Startup Raises $13 Million To Power Bitcoin Mining With Landfill Gas

Utah-based startup BitClub Network has raised $13 million in Series B funding to build a large-scale Bitcoin mining operation that uses landfill gas as an energy source.

The company claims it can run “megawatt-scale” bitcoin mining operations using the landfill gas used to power its mining rigs. The company announced plans to set up its first mining facility in Colorado this summer for testing purposes.
