RE: Getting Self Honest With Relationships... and Why I am Terrible at Them

in #lovelife8 years ago

DEEP DEEP Stuff Here! I Dig it. Thank You.
"We can learn to give ourselves the things we perceive we need and can only obtain from others. We can stop the cycle of compromising ourselves, our values, in order to please someone else enough that they will not leave us and manifest our own fear of loss and fear of loneliness. We can develop ourselves to become whole and abundant instead of desperate and broken. We can transform the relationships we create with others if we are willing to transform the relationship we are creating with ourselves."

Well said.

It is indeed fascinating and most self-empowering to explore the dichotomy of our relationships, stemming from the most regarded ones, to the least regarded ones. It's a journey into the depths of ourselves...our cells for sure...as the more and more i dig deep within me - by examining what comes up in my mind to the surface i have a starting point pivot for rotating deep inward by being accountable without bias for those uncomfortable bits that surface.

"Developing self-awareness and self-honesty through writing....the tool of self-forgiveness"

YES!

Keep on Keeping on with your sharing here, I look forward to reading as i've come to realize tht there is a tremendous amount of insight as self-reflection when one takes the time to read/listen to another who has poured their heart out. Grateful, much appreciated here.

Are you a professional pyschologist? Possibly a sports/performance psychologist? I ask because your work in writing here is indicative of someone who has the capacity to support anyone and everyone with their words. What I am saying is: Your Words are Solid and I have much respect and appreciation for your Story.

Thank You joekou
