Let Love Carry You
I wrote this post for @trucklife-family (Aishlin) as she is walking through a difficult time. It is a reflection of the thoughts and feelings that accompany us through these difficult moments and how the most sensitive part of us becomes our strongest force to carry us through each moment.
So if you have a few moments just to visit one of Aishlin's latest posts and give her some added love and support, I am sure she will be grateful.
In life, we are given moments that seem to sweep us to a different place. A place between time. A place where all the masks we wear, all our responsibilities and the distractions of this world seem to fall away and become a distant illusion.
In essence, we become this one sacred moment detached from what is familiar while still trying to cling to it in order to hold on. And we know that we will never be the same again...we know that somehow life's melody is changing within us. We know.
The heart beats a little harder and a little faster as its life-force becomes the center of each breath and tear, each memory and movement - it pulls us inward, into its Divine space.
"You are here....you are here," it gently reminds...as the mind enters into its sacred rhythm reflecting back in tandem what it holds precious...love.
At no other moment are we more free and yet we are bound to suspending sadness that consumes the sweetness of joy once felt from the memories we held up as lenses from which we saw the world.
With this the mind falls silent to make way for the opening of the door of the heart.
"You are here....you are here," it gently reminds.
"Let love carry you".... it whispers
In all its potent truth...it will lead you...Here....this moment...Divine

When i first lived through that moment, the first thing that i realised was becoming more me than i had ever been before and more love than i ever thought possible.
How could it be that such intense breaking of your soul could unleash more love than you could imagine.
And a couple years later .... Once again....
I don't know how you did it .. But you captured it so perfectly - i can't help but feel, you too may have had that particular right of passage we are all bound to have at some point in life - and my heart reaches out to you - hugging you through that mutual bond we call love.

I love this personal honesty between us.
I am so very sorry for your losses :( Yes, I have been through many of these rights of passage so it was not difficult to tune into that feeling very vividly - it is very bitter/sweet and sacred...albeit heart-wrenching, too.
Exactly....because our heart is wide open and I think that the heart is also the gateway to the soul. So there is something beautiful in that exchange with our loved one's heart, too. They always say that love is all that matters and this is what we feel in its purest form in these moments. No distractions.
I think we also give ourselves permission to let go and be there in the moment fully.
Love is definitely all that matters.
