Our country name is Bangladesh.

Bangladesh was born as an independent state on March 26, 1971. Earlier this country was a part of Pakistan state. Then the name of this country was East Pakistan. The people of this country fought for the last nine months and defeated the Pakistani army on December 16, 1971. Born was an independent country 'Bangladesh'.

Our independent state is located in South Asia. West Bengal, Assam and Meghalaya in the north, Bay of Bengal on the south, India's Assam, Mizoram, Tripura and Myanmar in the north and West Bengal of India on the west. Historic Dhaka City is the capital of Bangladesh.

Summer, Monsoon, Autumn, Hemant, Winter and Spring Season are coming every two months in this country due to the variety of colors. In the diversity of the region, this country is always shining light, sometimes the rain falls in the rain of rain, and sometimes the transparent sky falls from the silver josna. It is said that this country of beautiful nature is called Ruposhi Bangla.

There are plenty of natural resources in the land of Bangladesh. Gas, fuel oil, limestone, peat coal, ore iron, significant natural resources of this country. There are also beautiful, shawl and gajari wood, bamboo, cane etc.

The main produce of Bangladesh is rice, jute, tea, sugarcane, mustard, wheat and pulses. Bangladesh earns a lot of foreign currency by exporting tea and jute abroad.

There are many big rivers that flow across the plains of Bangladesh. This country is called riverine country. Padma, Meghna, Jamuna, Karnaphuli are the main rivers of the country. Dhaleshwari, Buriganga, Shitalaksh, Arial Khan, Ichhamati, Bhairab, Kumar, Kobadak, Atrai, Karatoa, Teesta, Dharla - all these branches and tributaries of our country.

Dhaka is the biggest city in Bangladesh. Other major cities are Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Sylhet and Barisal. Chittagong and Mongla main sea port of Bangladesh.
