What is marriage?

Marriage is the process or coming together of two people in other to make their relationship public, official, and permanent. It is the joining of two people who are in love and are ready to start a life together in a bond that putatively lasts until death, but in practice now, marriage is increasingly cut short by divorce. Over the course of every relationship that can last as many decades, a lot happens in the relationship that causes break up and divorce Personalities change, bodies age, and romantic love waxes and wanes as you increase in age. No marriage is free from any conflict, it's depends on how you handle your conflict.

TO THOSE WHO ARE MARRIED AND THOSE PREPARING TO GET MARRIED SOON

1. EVERYONE YOU MARRY HAS A WEAKNESS
   Only God has no weakness. Don't judge your spouse with his weakness, Every rose flower has its own thorn. If you focus too much on your spouse's weakness, you won't get anything out of his/her strength.
2. EVERYONE YOU MARRY HAS A DARK HISTORY
   No one is an Angel, therefore, avoid digging one's past it causes more harm than good , What matters most is the present life and how it is been treated. The did has been done, just try and forgive and forget what happens in the past and move on living a happy home.
3. EVERY MARRIAGE HAS IT'S OWN CHALLENGES
   Marriage is not bed of roses or a ready made place. Every peaceful marriage has gone through its own test of hot fire. True love is proved in time of problem and challenges. Fight for your home! Stay with your spouse, encourage him/her in times of trouble and try to be strong for each other.
4. EVERY MARRIAGE HAS DIFFERENT LEVELS OF SUCCESS
   Comparing yourself spouse with others kill the joy and love in a marriage, don't compare your marriage with anyone! We can never be equal in anything we do, To maintain a happy home, •avoid marriage stresses

   •work hard
   with time, your marriage dreams shall come true.
5. TO MARRY IS TO DECLARE A WAR
   When you marry, you must declare a war against enemies of marriage, not listen to third parties in the relationship, Some of the enemies of marriage are:
   •Ignorance
   •Prayerlessness
   •Unforgiveness
   •Adultery
   •Third Party Influence
   •Stinginess
   •Stubbornness
   •Lack Of Love
   •Rudeness
   •Wife battery
   •Laziness
   •Divorce etc.
   Be ready to fight to maintain your marriage happiness.
6. THERE IS NO PERFECT MARRIAGE
   There is no ready made marriage or a perfect marriage anywhere. Marriage is what you work for to build, volunteer yourself and perfect it your marriage daily. Marriage is like a car and if not properly maintained, the car will brake down somewhere along the road and exposing the occupant to unhealthy circumstances. Please pay attention to your marriage, many have been careless with their marriage.
   
7. GOD CANNOT GIVE YOU THE COMPLETE PERSON YOU DESIRE
   It is your responsibility to bring up your partner to your taste, no one his perfect and complete. You may desire a woman who can pray for 1 hours but your wife limits is not up to that. With your love and words of encouragement her prayer life will increase.
8. TO MARRY IS TO TAKE A RISK
   You cannot predict what will happen later in future, you have to leave room for adjustment after marriage, as situation may change. Your wife may not be pregnant for the next 4 years, You may love and get married to her because she's slim and has flat stomach but she becomes 100% fatter after a child. He may lose his beautiful job for years and have to depend on you for some years for financial support and responsibility of the family until he gets a new job. But just remember that with God by your side, all things are possible.
9. MARRIAGE IS NOT A CONTRACT, IT IS PERMANENT
   Marriage is all about commitment, while love is the glue that makes a couple stick together and stronger. Never think of divorce but it start from the mind.
   
10. EVERY MARRIAGE HAS A PRICE TO PAY
    Marriage is just like a bank account. If you don't deposit money into your bank account then you can't withdraw any money out of it. The same applies to marriage,If you don't deposit love, peace and care into your marriage, then you aren't a candidate of a blissful and peaceful home. There is no free love anywhere, if you are not ready to pay the sacrifice then you can't get love back.
