Marriage

Hello to everyone, I'm Jake Gimball, I'm 26 years old and I am from South Africa, 

I have been married for 2 years and I have a beautiful baby girl.

I thought I would share a few tips about being married and the trials and tribulations that come along with it.

So I met my wife in 2017,  we were both at a club, we started talking, exchanged numbers and then next thing you know we started dating, life was good, we were the happiest couple on earth, we couldn't get enough of each other.

A few months, December, down the line I proposed, take in mind we were only dating for about 3 months, and we got married in March of 2018. We had a big wedding and had a blast. Then we also got news that my wife was pregnant.

We moved into a house that we rented, and started our married life.

Little did we know that the year ahead would be very difficult and testing for us and our marriage.

We quickly learnt that we had to change....

I was 24 at the time and still a young and outgoing person, partying every weekend, drinking like there's no tomorrow and just living life like a young adult would.

My wife on the other hand was 31 at the time and she had 2 children already, so she was past the whole partying and drinking phase.

We never lived together before we were married, so when we moved in together it was a big big change.
