Yes, there's pain all over the world
Its folly to deny the conspicuous reality of hurt in our world. To say pain is an illusion; it doesn't exit. To say, 'I've never been hurt.' True, you may have never experience hurt but that doesn't mean your neighbor next door haven't neither has someone close to you. And if life is truly about relationship; connecting with one another, then there's no way you wouldn't sympathize with them in their pain.
We all in one way or the other have been hurt and denying it doesn't make us strong. No, it doesn't! Pain is met to be felt for a time because like everyday under the beautiful sky, it will pass. Healing will come! Like the sun rising in the east, it will shine in our heart taking away all pain. It is however sad that too many people stop at pain, carrying it as a brand not allowing themselves heal.
So what is my point? Am I here to throw your pain on your face? No, but to make known to you that which is more glaring--love.
Yes, there's hurt all over the world. Yes, someone somewhere had his/her heart broken yesterday and someone is already hurting in an abusive relationship in between opting out and staying put with the hope that things will get better some day. Yes, someone is in love but the fear from the experience shared by a friend is making it hard to give in.
Yes, there's hurt in the world. But guess what else is in the world? Love! Love bearing healing, casting out all fear. Love crashing the chatterbox in our mind filled with fear an insecurity. Love teaching us to let our guards down, trust again and live everyday to the fullest.
