Getting over love
IT’S NOT ALWAYS EASY TO GET OVER SOMEONE YOU WERE
DEEPLY IN LOVE WITH
Love is such a good feeling that we all need to experience in this world. It feels so good to be loved and cared for. Youvcan feel like you are at the top of the world and you can wish that moment never comes to an end. But once someone you love breaks up with you, that is when you get to taste the bitter side of love. It hurts a lot when someone you love so much
dumps you over minor reasons or for someone else.
You can cry yourself a river, you can lose appetite, you can grow thin, you can hate love, you can hate yourself, you can get sick, you can ask yourself many questions, you can plead and ask for forgiveness but when nothing can change that person’s decision.
S/hedumps you without thinking twice. They forget all the promises they made to you and time you spent together means nothing to them. Now you start finding better ways of getting over them, but it’s not always easy because most of the things can be reminding you of that person. The places, the songs, the snaps, and the gifts they gave you… You can try to forget that person’s face, voice and jokes but it’s not easy because they keep replaying in your noddle. You can swear never to venture in some territories that remind you of that person but a small song can remind you of that person. You can reach to a point of changing your mobile numbers so that you completely disappear from that person but still that doesn’t paint away the memories you shared together. Your friends can narrate their terrible break up stories to you just to make you feel encouraged but still there’s that part of you that never gets strong. >You now start making yourself busy with work, you resort to flirting with other people, you start to hang out with different people interested in you but still that can’t make you get over that person you loved so much with all your heart. Now you decide to give your damaged heart to someone thinking that things will work out but you end up rebounding. After a period of time your friends start to ask you if you got over that person and you strongly tell them “Yeah I did… I’m now fine and moving on with my life” yet in actual sense you’re dying inside. You always think of the person and you seriously miss them. Days, weeks and months go by when you are hoping that maybe one day God will change that person’s minds and s/he gets back to you but all in vain.
Now you lose hope and you start living a single life. You start hating love. As time goes on you start to get strong again. You find new people interested in you but you fear to give in your heart because you think that they’ll turn out like the way that person you loved so much did. They start to promise you heaven on earth, they assure you that they are different from your ex that you should give them a chance but you find your heart hesitating to give in.
That is what love does to us. This has even happened to ME and I think it has also happened to you at one time. If it has never then one day it will but you just have to ready for it. Yeah, it’s not always easy to get over someone you were deeply
