Today as i was nursing my three years old son and browsing my other social media account i saw this post about a breastfeeding mom being humiliated on social media because she was nursing her baby on public place. I came to think that why do they insulting her just because she did breastfeed her child on public place? For me there's nothing wrong with that the only problem is the people with narrow minded and perverted mind! Child cannot be told to wait because you are on a public place. You cannot tell a child to shut up and wait. And dont you know that it was also hard on our part how uncomfortable it is to us to nurse our child on public place? Because a lot of narrow minded people around you looking at you like your doing something wrong? They even telling that why dont you just feed your child a formula milk? And they even saying that maybe you just wanted to gain attention thats why your showing your breast. really people? Whats wrong with you all judgemental and narrow minded people! We are giving our childs need we are giving them the best milk and nourishment they need. We are giving them all our love we are a mother and what's most important for us is our childs need! Your opinion doesnt even needed. Of course some other will say that you should atleast go to a not so crowded places. We know that and thats what are we doing but in some cases like in the phillipines when you are on a public vehicle like buses or jeepneys we dont have a choice but to nurse our child on that place. What we can do is to cover up as long as we can. So please stop judging us. Stop humiliating us! Stop telling us what to do to take good care of our child. Breastfeeding is the best way to express a mothers love to her child. It doesnt matter if we are on a public place or who are the people around us. It is our child thats matters most. And yes i am one of them and i am really really proud to be one of those breastfeeding mother. My son is already three years old and i still breastfeed him. I am blessed because up until now i still have the golden milk that i can give to my child. Please stop telling us that breastfeeding in public places is disgusting. Stop telling us to just give our child formula milk so we dont have to breastfeed our child. We are a mother and we are all going to give our child what os the best for them. And one of the best that we can give to them is our golden milk.
