JOURNEY TO THE ALTAR; The Language of Love
This was gotten from the 19th year anniversary of Rev/Pst Mrs Ntia I. Ntia. I learnt a lot and would love to share with you.
Journey through the 'altar': The altar here refers to a relationship leading to marriage, it is possible to desire to end up at the altar but do not end up there and it is possible to be a player in the midst of serious minded people.
*Two serious minded people can still damage their intended relationship.
What is a language?
A language is the collection of words or actions systematically used to convey message. It is communication through words, actions signs, symbols or speech composed to convey a message.
What can love that lead to the altar be defined as?
It is a feeling of tender affection towards the person. Deep desire and passion for closeness and attachment. A strong liking and fondness. Pleasure, joy, delight from the presence of the person.
Important keys in expressing the language of love includes;
- Your destiny, mandate and vision.
- Your desires which includes career, spiritual or relational desire.
- Your attitude should reflect selflessness, simplicity, self control, positivity, value for others, gentleness and be patient.
- Affection and attraction.
- In your approach, you should be careful, polite, friendly and bold.
Before love finds you, you should;
- Have a right attitude towards marriage.
- Keep company with people who value marriage.
- Know what you want and keep your mind on it.
- Keep it in mind that nothing of value is found easy.
- Do not think you're in competition with anymore.
- Be yourself.
- Do not rush into a relationship allow the love grow gradually.
I also learnt 19 things from 19 years of their marriage - Love like Christ
- Forgive like Christ
3.Notice each other - Share everything
- Be open
- Talk often
- Ask questions rather than being suspicious
- Don't be too serious
- Don't read meaning into everything
- Be deaf and blind to folks
- Give room for mistakes
- Celebrate each other
- Say "Thank you" and "I'm Sorry"
- Accept each other
- Text and call each other
- Appreciate each other effort
- Honour each other
- Be ever ready to help out
- Enjoy the journey of marriage.
Thinking that spirituality makes up for love expression or love in the heart must not be expressed through words are wrong assumptions that can hinder the language of love.
Learn the language of love.
