Happiness & Love... what does it mean to YOU?

Happiness & Love…

The feeling of happiness may arrive when you do the things that feel natural to you, the things that beat in your heart and sing in your mind. Being a genuine version of yourself, and realising that you are accepting of yourself and of others, and feeling the love vibrations throughout the cosmos. A massive connectedness, a smile though the souls of many. Where does this happiness come from, the heart? To be happy is to be love, so powerful and so alive. This love and happiness may come from anywhere, depends on how much attention can be spent observing surroundings and feeling the oneness with the universe. Coming out of the mind, and entering into the space of stillness, of life, of breath. A shining star in the sky may look down upon you, and make you feel as though that star is life and is speaking to you. The moon may hover over you and draw the energy out of you, or fill you up with madness and curiosity. The moon will light up your path so you can see where you’re headed, but knowing that the light comes from everywhere in order to shine bright within. Silencing the busy sounds from the too familiar ‘rat race’, being able to see the stillness through the rubble and maintaining the positivity, embracing its negative partner in life and seeing the negatives as lessons, beautiful lessons of life. The one may not live without the other, for they are in love. The mind can play such games, make you believe in what it says, convinces you of the past, but the only reality, is the present moment, the appreciation of life as it is now. For to cling onto the past serves as an anchor which may drag you along life making you feel as though you are ‘stuck’. Believe in the powers that be, the higher states of consciousness and the energies that live among us…

And slightly more intimate writing…

Love- Genuine beautiful soulful love…the ultimate connection to someone or even to the universe. Love is so important to me and to my overall happiness. I feel that I constantly give love to those around me, I genuinely try to love as much as I can. I know that when I love, even when there is anger or negativity surrounding me, the most positive outcome will evolve. I have been in various negatively charged situations in the past which has taught me a lot about myself and others. Growing up I felt that there was a lot of anger even in my own home. Growing up in that sort of environment was really challenging as a child, and trying to convey my feeling was a mystery to me, I didn’t know any other way other than to remain quiet and watch with love. Sometimes I felt this love I had within me would show through my eyes and the anger from others would diminish, almost like a superpower I thought I had as a kid. It made me feel stronger to love, and to show the emotion I craved. In my opinion, people need love to survive and to be happy. I think that anger or hatred or any other negative emotion is directly linked to a lack of love and affection in someones life. This is not to say the angry are not able to love, they just need more of it, a bigger understanding from others around them as well. It is a cry out for help, for attention and love. Having had a baby I have come to realise just how important it is to love as a mother. Giving my own child love and affection gives her the ability to be confident, she knows she is loved and is able to go out into this massive universe with open eyes and more importantly a happy open heart as well. It is something that I wish was preserved for a lifetime in people…. or taught in schools! There are so many layers of love as well, love for oneself, for another, romantic love, love for nature or for animals… the list is endless really.
