Most men don't understand their roles in marriage. The mindset of most husbands is "let her be comfortable" yet what they meant is there will be food in the house. The responsibilities of a man in marriage are quite large and demanding. It is deeper than providing money and sexual satisfaction. Here are responsibilities of manhood.
- PRIESTHOOD: You must be the priest in the home. This includes ability to communicate the mind of God to your family. You're a watchman and gate keeper of your home, devil shouldn't come and snatch your wife and children. You're a prayer warrior and altar keeper. You must be inclined spiritually and aligned perpetually.
- FATHERHOOD: You sit in the office of a father. You must understand that fatherhood is about sacrifice and responsibility. Why should a man wears designers while his wife wears a rag? The comfort of your home is important than your pleasure. You must be able to sacrifice your comfort for your children and wife.
- MUTUAL SUBMISSION: A wife must submit to his wife. The man must submit to God. If you don't want to be a tyrant you must understand mutual submission. Respect your wife! A wife is not a slave. Why should you shout at your wife? Why should you discuss your wife secrets with friends? My wife has rashes on her private parts..... My wife hasn't seen her monthly mensuration for months..... My wife is weak in bed.... Stop those non sense talks. Respect your wife!
