The 3L of Life: Keys to Knowing and Fulfilling Purpose.

Dear steemians.
2017 is wrapping up, I'm so grateful to God for 2017, it was indeed a year to remember.

We are just few days away from the new year, (2018) and I'm very excited. I can say, I already have a picture that 2018 will be more than awesome.

As we are all stepping into 2018, I am sure everyone wants to have a wonderful year, but having a wonderful year doesn't just end in wishing for it, it also involves working for it and you can only work for something if you have the right information, knowledge and tools.

One major thing everyone craves for is knowing who the truly are, discovering their purpose and fulfilling it, because only in that can you find true life and joy. Getting this knowledge and walking in it will bring a turn around in your life forever.

One will ask, what is purpose?
Webster defines it as the reason, aim, intention or something or why something is done or created. As human created by God, our purpose is why He created us. For every man, there is a purpose of that man. You are not just existing because your parents came together and brought you forth. They are just the channel through which God sent you into the world, to fulfill what He created you for and only you can fulfill it in the original way.

Why do I live? For every man/woman, who has existed, is existing or will every exist, there are 3major purposes to fulfill, I call it the 3L of Life.

• Love God: This is the number one reason why any man/woman that has ever passed through, current passing through or yet to pass through the face of earth. Once you miss it at this level, you can't fulfill the other two. A relationship with God is more than important to life. When God created every other thing on earth, it was recorded that "He saw they were all good" but non could satisfy His desire for a father-son relationship, He had to create man. Although it was lost as a result of the edenic failure, Jesus restored it back after His death on the Cross, giving us back the access to a relationship with the father.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
Deuteronomy 6:5 NKJV

• Love Others: The second duty of every man on earth is to live in genuine love with each other, our government are not just to her citizens, the simple solution is not the law or constitution, it is this. Rape, murder, cheating and all the vices challenging our world can only be solved when we all start living in genuine love from God with everyone.

Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
Romans 13:8‭-‬10 NKJV

• Love yourself: This is another basic requirement for a successful life, you got to find out who you are in Christ Jesus and love yourself like He loves you. No one else can love you like you will ever desire, only Jesus and you can love you the best way possible. The sad truth is when you haven't discovered God's love for you, you crave for people's love and they can't even love you well, neither can you love yourself enough. God got to be our first lover.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 NKJV

These are the major purposes for every man/woman and fulfilling it should be the top priority of everyone. Any other thing is secondary and just a means to fulfilling them. Anything that is not leading you towards the part of these 3 things shouldn't be in existence in your life. Our society will be way better if everyone is walking in the knowledge of the 3L of Life.

Live in the knowledge of these principles and watch your life take shape and experience joy from within. Forsake them and forever live an unknown life, that will never know joy.

Discovering purpose and walking in it is the bedrock for true Self-discovery and Joy.
