Greetings everyone,

I am going to take a different stance today and just focus on the importance of choosing to to remain positive in a negative situation. Lately there has been an endless cycle of backbiting, walking over, kicking out, excommunicating, shunning, and banning among the population. My understanding of working together is bringing your skills together to accomplish the task. Of course at most times, people come with the same skill set, that does not mean to utilize the skill set of one person. Why can't the same skill set be used to complete the task on a more grandiose level since two heads are greater that one?

The issue that we as people do not like to focus on is that all things that we see going on on the outside, is a projection of what you have going on in your life on the inside. If you feel miserable, you have miserable days. If you feel insecure, someone with confidence makes you uncomfortable. If you are a deceiver, misfortune finds you. If you don't take the time to stop and watch the way your thoughts gather, then being blown in every direction is what your life may look like. Having a firm foundation, begins from the inside, it takes discipline. It takes a conscious effort to choose to have positive thoughts. It takes a conscious effort to accept people for where they are in life. It take a conscious effort not to lose your mind on a misinformed person. It definitely takes a conscious effort to remain in peace when the enemy is attacking you.

I wanted to bring to light the possibility of rising above negativity. So many people vibrate on a negative frequency, it is easy to get swept away in your emotions if you let them linger. An easy exercise to do when getting upset, anxious, or overwhelmed, is to take three deep breaths, inhale for three seconds, exhale for three seconds. This sends a jolt of oxygen to the brain and gives you an overall feeling of clarity and calmness. We have to choose to stay positive. We have to choose to act in positivity. We have to choose to speak positive. We have to choose to be positive. All it takes is a thought to shift your vibration and the action to execute being in positivity. Oh The Possibilities!!!

Do not get distracted or bogged down by negative energy. It is there to suck the life out of you. When you move in positivity, you vibrate on a higher wavelength. People feel your energy and are drawn toward the light in you. Embrace it, and use it to show others the sturdiness of your foundation. Be your rock!!

I love the line "If you feel insecure, someone with confidence makes you uncomfortable" This is so true and I admit I have been guilty of that from time to time. The best part though is knowing this and then changing your thoughts, and realizing that you have total control over everything that happens to you. Great article :)

You are absolutely correct. The hardest thing for us to do is take self accountability for the way that we feel. It is so easy for us to point the finger and say how other's have made us feel. It takes a lot to admit out struggles. So Kudos to you for being able to acknowledge those emotions and change them. That shows growth.

absolutely agree! :) Cut out the negativity and the drains of your energy, and you can be a much happier person! I wish I had learned this years ago lol
