Self Love

Too often we hear about people who abuse drugs, or alcohol, even other people.
But not often enough do we hear of people who abuse themselves. I'm not talking about the physical abuse, I'm talking about the mental.
The mental kind of abuse that tears down ones self esteem.
That little voice in side of your head telling you no. Saying that you can't do it, or that you aren't worth it.
For once in your life, you need to stop campaigning about stopping all the wars and problems in this world. When really the only war that is life threatening to you, is going on inside of your head.
I was always told to "be a game changer" and to "change the world". But how are you ever supposed to make this world a better, happier place? When the world in which you live in, is a place of darkness, hatred and destruction.
Destroying yourself is destroying the world around you.

Humans have destruction embedded within their DNA, it lurks beneath their skin. I say "they" because we are all capabale of escaping that. Yet nobody chooses to.
Why? Why do we all choose to follow this path. Because it's easier? Or because that's what history shows, and to make a future you need history. Yet we have all read that wrong.
Isn't it clear to see that our history has led to our presence, and isn't it even clearer that our presence isn't a place of happiness and fulfilment.
So with that, take it and change it.
Not only do I challenge myself to rid this world of abuse, but I also challenge you. How can abuse of another being be such a crime? Yet abuse of yourself is perfectly acceptable and considered "normal". I don't know about you, but I see ourselves with a future where abuse isn't tolerated in any kind of form.
So please, fall in love with the monsters inside of your head. Because they will never disappear, yet the best thing you could do, is to tame them. Make them your own, and make them you. The growing, spiritual being of lightness that you are.
Your mind is a powerful place to live in, so use it. Don't abuse it.
