She asked him, 'How much are you selling the eggs for?'
The old seller replied, '$.25 an egg, Madam.'
She said to him, 'I will take 6 eggs for $1.25 or I will leave.'
The old seller replied, 'Come take them at the price you want. Maybe, this is a good beginning because I have not been able to sell even a single egg today.'
She took the eggs and walked away feeling she has won. She got into her fancy car and went to a posh restaurant with her friend. There, she and her friend, ordered whatever they liked. They ate a little and left a lot of what they ordered. Then she went to pay the bill. The bill costed her $45.00 She gave $50.00 and asked the owner of the restaurant to keep the change.
This incident might have seemed quite normal to the owner but, very painful to the poor egg seller.
The point is,
Why do we always show we have the power when we buy from the needy ones? And why do we get generous to those who do not even need our generosity?
I once read somewhere:
'My father used to buy simple goods from poor people at high prices, even though he did not need them. Sometimes he even used to pay extra for them. I got concerned by this act and asked him why does he do so? Then my father replied, "It is a charity wrapped with dignity, my child”

what an important message! It's high time the "wealthy" or "rich" start to break down their preconceptions of the poor - if everyone supported the poor as your father did there would be far less poor people.

I enjoyed our discourse earlier today & all your others in that other post!! You sound like a really good researcher & independent thinker!! I like to think of ourselves as researchers now!! It seems to sum up for me all the reading & studying I do & especially in the areas that are not widely accepted or well-known. Keep steeming bifilarcoil!!!
I try to do my own thinking, not having a tv is an important part. Why should i pay for cable to get my time wasted with ads.
Not sure if i'm a good researcher, my mind is all over the place. I usually dive to deep, then get exhausted, and have to move to something completely different just to stay sane.
Yet that creates a broad knowledge base.
I don’t have cable either for the same reason. I also get engrossed in a subject. I love gaining knowledge and seeing different perspectives of certain subjects. I have many interests too & can’t seem to have enough time to search all my interests. I’m glad I have trusted bloggers who I can follow who can do some of the research for me & I can at least watch their summaries on a regular basis. I think I’m spending my time on meaningful subjects though while I think a lot of humans - at least in the United States are staying numb and dumb by the things they either choose to be hypnotized by or manipulated and tricked to be hypnotized by. I’m glad I’m awake. I hope I can help awaken others. At one point yesterday I was in a group of 6 people. 1 was sort of awake to what I think is the truth and another was sort of awake to the truth. The other 3 are completely asleep and thought some of my comments were crazy. I at least planted the seed and told them to do their own research and investigations before believing everything their told. I heard that yesterday in one of these dialogs. I love that idea. Telling people to stop believing everything they are told by their talking screens. I heard that humans will believe whatever their told and that’s why the ones that are totally plugged into the mainstream society ways of doing things are so easily programmed and conditioned. That’s why getting off the grid so to speak is such a beautiful place to be. It’s a much freer existence with a lot less fears & much more positivity. Thanks for the dialogue @bifilarcoil

STOPThat is I ask before, Why people only help when you died? Why they didn't help you when times that you needed them? And they cried horrible than me, this is hard to accept but it's the real thing that happens to our society ....My point is we help the needed and not the unneeded ones.

People think they need money, but fail to see that they actually need people and money is secondary.

The ones who cry often cry for the very reason you mentioned, they were not able to help, and actually cry for themselves. You helped, and did what you could, so then there is no bad feeling.

yeah defenitely true, co'z this is my experience, money is nothing, it is easy to gathered when it needed if....you are a good person with good character no need to ask them they are willingly and voluntarily gave.
The last one you said is really true, they cried co'z they have the power to help but they didn't take any attention, now what for? What is the use of grass if the horse is dead? Pity on them, their conscience charge them.

I like to know how i can improve my bandwidth a bit with my steem behaviour. I don't follow any rules. So i guess i need to bend the ruler.

Hi! Since you clued me into looking at my steem power I now check it all the time. Thank you! Could you please help me with one more question? When my voting power was 100% I upvoted someone & they got 0.01 from my upvote I think. Then I upvoted a second post & they didn’t get anything for that upvote. Then I checked my voting power & it said 97% & would be 100% in 3 hours. Is it just because I don’t have much status in steemit that I can’t help give people value in my upvote? Do I get more power by uploading content? I thought I was doing the right thing by reading everyone’s posts and giving them votes. Do votes matter even if they don’t get paid? I want them to know I like their comment. Thanks! I know I asked a lot of questions.
Right?! @bifilarcoil I don’t think there should be money at all anyway. I really believe there could be a utopian society. I believe this is our near future, but humans are being manipulated and “programmed” to be enslaved in the long existing & current political system. I think the barriers that bind us are slowly cracking and people are starting to change the vibrations in this world & beautiful change is on the horizon.

no one should inherit the earth because it belongs to no one. we live temporarily on its surface.. how can we dare to say that this piece of land is 'my property"... infected thinking...

peace will only come by universal enlightenment. the best thing you can do is retrieve yourself from this madness aside and living off of natural resources. and just hope for a better outcome. its anyways under the decision of groups.. often times when a group tries to make a wise decision its outcome is really fucked up... whereas 1 single person coulded have done a whole difference in a matter of a couple thoughts.
if they still come after you with taxes and shit.. even when ur living peacefully without interrupting their "plans".... war is needed. there's no other way.. how else do you treat an infection?
