On celebrating her

When a woman loves, she loves for real

I have had the privilege to experience the love of 4 women in my short voyage thus far on this planet.

Now I'm not talking about the regular love, I have had tens of those, I am talking about the deep, annoying, intense, stressful love. that love that won't let go, that love that won't let down

I have to say each of them marveled and is still marvelous me
I actually ran away from one, I tried to run from another but she held me close, too close

Four things are common to this women;

• they get mad at me easily and frequently
• they care about me more than I care about myself
• I have no worries today because they stripped me of it all
• the will bend over back, over and again to see me happy
  

The craziest one is the one that has been holding up for over 25 years, this woman has seen me in every light, she still will lay down her life readily any day for me.

I really am not trying to be poetic today, I just really need to use this opportunity to bare my mind

And express the most profound gratitude to these Women.

I might never be perfect, I never be that beautiful image y'all been trying to polish me to
I might keep annoying you till my last breath, and act like I don't really care

But deep down, I cherish you more than anything this world has to give
I must confess you are why I am this me, and here, your motivations, your rebukes, insults, efforts....damn.

I am of men one of the most fortunate, having you tuning my life, and on this day when women are being celebrated, I raise my glass, I take off my crown, I bow in reference and gratitude. You are the finest of women.
