Tragic Love
Two decades
A decade and half
That was how we were
When we first fell in love
Tall for his age
Handsome for his complexion
Nice for his looks
He was my Prince Charming
I bet Juliet would have chosen him over Romeo
For he was more than a prince
Short fights and arguments we had
Always disappeared soonest
We planned a future together
Laughed and poked at each other
One, two, three, four
Four years after we first met
Tragedy struck
I was shock chained
Tears flowed like the River Nile
And reality told me we are separated
Who dare separate us?
Death triumphed shamelessly saying his deed
All alone six-feet below in cold he lies
While I mourn emotionally endlessly
