• At some point in our lives, we fall in love at first sight or, is it really love at first sight?
  Some people don't believe the possibility of falling in love with someone at first sight. Most claim it's merely sexual attraction because they can't imagine wanting to spend the rest of their lives with someone they're seeing for the first time. Others believe that love does not consist of only feelings, it involves activities which is why they don't believe in love at first sight.

• For me, the fact that love at first sight may be based on a lot of information, reliable or unreliable, does not mean that it is not an instance or moment of intense love because, I believe time is not a measure of intense love.

• *Imagine a scenario where you're in a restaurant, library, party or walking down the street, you look up at someone and you're instantly attracted to the person. Maybe it's the person's physical appearance, the way the person is smiling, talking or walking. However way, it's unexplainable. At this point, you want to talk to the person because something has come over you and you can't stop thinking or starring at that person. What could one call that?

• Scientifically, when you fall in love at first sight, you feel the urge to bond with the person because at that point, our brain releases Oxytocin, which is called the love hormone. Since everyone responds differently, the association to the brain can either be good (love) or bad (hate)
  Researchers has it that, when you fall in love, your brain releases a chemical called dopamine, which is also the chemical released when someone takes cocaine because there's this quick rush that feels rewarding and your brain becomes addicted to it.

• so i've come to understand that love is one of the first emotions we experience, regardless of what your definition of love is. It could have been when your parents first held you in their arms or it could have been when you chased your playground crush and scrapped your knees in the process.

• At this point of instant rush of emotion towards this person, you're seeing for the first time, you can't quite say you're in love with this person yet or you want to be. But, you want to know the person, learn who they really are and how you can be part of their life.

• As for me, Love is something that just happens. You can't quite explain it, but it exists and often times, the potential of falling in love with someone happens at first glance.
