Durch den Neubau der Tiroler Zugspitzbahn 1991 wurde die alte Bergstation nicht mehr gebraucht. Da der Abriss auf dieser Höhe sehr schwierig ist und das gesamte Material sehr kostenintensiv mit dem Helikopter ins Tal gebracht werden müsste, lässt man das Gebäude einfach verfallen.

Eigentlich schon. Auf dem Gipfel tummeln sich tausende Touristen und du kannst kaum laufen. Da wäre Platz von Nöten. Dieses Haus ist jedoch ca. 20 Minuten vom Gipfel entfernt. Als Tourist will man aber in Flipflops auf 3.000 Meter nur nen Kaiserschmarrn essen und ein Weißbier trinken. In hochalpinen Gelände!!!
Diese 20 Minuten würde niemand machen. 😬
Wie du vielleicht an meiner Schreibweise erkennst, haben mich die Touristen unglaublich genervt 😡

Sieht jetzt traurig aus. Na ja, dann bekommt es die Natur zurück.
Einerseits ja, andererseits hätte der Seilbahnbetreiber die Kosten tragen und das Gebäude zurückbauen müssen.
Wem gehören die Berge? Schwieriges Thema.... 😉
Der hatte ja sein ganzes Geld in den Megabau am Eibsee gesteckt. Da blieb leider nix mehr übrig für die Natur. Ich nutze die neue Gondel nicht.
Bei dem Jahresgewinn müsste der Rückbau drin sein... 😉
