Los Angeles
I have been off awhile. Apart from travel, I was also ill for almost a month!
The last three months just felt like a rollercoaster ride and my mind is just finally getting things together, being back on the rock (Cayman) Before I realise it, we are nearing the end of October.
It almost feel like I have to re-introduce myself. 😁
I spent a few days in LA early August before embarking on the long journey to Asia. First time in LA, I didn’t really have any expectations just that I knew it would be fun. And it was as it turned out and staying in Koreatown was ideal for a family of four with young children.
Koreatown. Charming.
We met up with an old friend of mine and she took us around. She also told me about a very good Filipino restaurant walking distance from our hotel. It did not disappoint. Neri’s is a must if you love Filipino food :)
Hotel Normandie is a charming boutique hotel right in Koreatown.
Ofcourse I got to see this. And no, we did not hike :)
The Grove is a lovely place for kids.
Hollywood walk of fame. Yes very touristy and I loved it hahaha!
We watched this very talented guy.
Korean barbecue!
Los Angeles is a very lively city. Hopefully next time, I get to explore more.
