Steel Wool Photography

Was brauche ich ?

• Stahlwolle (Baumarkt)
• Schneebesen oder "Kaninchendraht"
• Schnur
• Kamera und Stativ

What do I need ?

• Steel wool (DIY-store)
• whisk or wire netting
• cord
• camera and tripod

In the middle you could see the amount of wool I use for one swing. You have to pluck the wool, so that it's more light, than put it in the whisk or the wire netting. Finaly fasten some cord.

In der Mitte sieht man die Menge, die ich für einen Versuch nehme. Man muss die Stahlwolle etwas auseinanderzupfen, so dass sie luftiger ist. Am ende noch eine Schnur befestigen.

Set the steel wool on fire with a lighter or a 9V battery and rotate it.

Die Stahlwolle mit einem Feuerzeug oder einer 9V Batterie anzünden und drehen.

Be creative!

⚠ Always be sure, that there is no risk to start a fire. Wear old clothes and protect your self with a cap or a hood.

⚠ Achtet darauf, dass keine Gefahr zu einem Brand besteht und schützt euch selbst mit einer Kaputze oder einer Mütze.
