Hey , thanks @astrophoto.kevin . No worries about the mention , I can appreciate how much work goes into getting really good astro images (and I'm not quite on that level yet). I can get some decent images here and there , but really I just have to spend more time on astrophotography :)

And yeah , I kinda thought about a few things , and read up about it a while back , like cutting the tube (I didn't really want to go down that road though because that one is a bit permanent lol) . And did have a look at some low profile focuser , but just don't really have the spare funds for that.

It did cross my mind to maybe cut another hole for the focuser a little further back and move the secondary back to match , but again , I'm not sure about that one. In the end , I winded up just using a piece of plywood(with a hole in it of course haha) in place of the focuser and I put a 35mm extension tube held onto that. And somehow that seemed to be about the perfect distance to be in focus. I was thinking though I probably should try to DIY some type of helical focuser in place of the 35mm tube. Something to try one day anyways :) , I haven't been out in a good while now , I think I have to find my astrophotography mojo again before I get back out there hahah.
