London: So what is there to do..more precisely 'to Eat'?

in #london7 years ago (edited)

I noticed that I have been writing so many posts on Thailand and the countries I travelled to but I've only written about London briefly in my introduction post [Link]: https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@the.wildflower/hi-steemit-where-do-i-begin ..a place that became a second home to me although I've only lived there for 4-6 months.

For those of you who missed my first post, I was living and studying in Canterbury for a year before moving to London. However, it took me about a month until I found a place to settle in London :D

I literally went from a friend's spare room (East London) to an Airbnb (North West London) to Ladywell (South East London) where I stayed until my visa expired then to a hotel (Queensway).

During my time in London, I spent my days applying to approximately 50 jobs everyday while, working in a Thai restaurant a couple days a week as a receptionist, waitress and of course the toilet master :D.

Although, I did spend most of my time during the day working on applications I did find plenty of time to explore London. So what is there to do..more precisely 'to eat'?

Hope I didn't make you guys too hungry :D my next London post will probably be more focused on which cafes, pubs, clubs and other places you should definitely go to. Enjoy :)

Very nice photos, especially the food! The cafe Concerto looks like my type of place... I have a Spanish friend who lives in London. The first couple weeks he was there, he couldn't find anything to eat! He said it was all bangars & mash. lol

Cafe Concerto was really nice! If you do have the chance to go there you should certainly try the lamb (literally, fall off the bone :D). To be fair, the first couple of weeks could be abit confusing since is so big and especially when you probably won't know where everything is. I hope you Spanish friend managed to find some decent restaurants after awhile :D
