Pictures from the great day we had at @ingaaa's picnic meetup!

Last Sat, we had a picnic meetup in St. Jame's Park, which is one of the Royal Parks in London. I'd never been to this park before, it was right in between Buckingham Palace and the Churchill War Rooms. The whole area had lots of nice old buildings, which was nice to explore a bit after the picnic.

It had been a pretty manic week at home, so I was glad to be out to have some fun child free time :)

For a picnic where we hardly coordinated what to bring, we actually did alright I'd say. There was a nice spread going on when I got there around 2ish pm, with @ingaaa, @yasminep, @rod.crisafulli already there. Lots of prosecco, fruits and finger foods.

I brought lemoncello, apple juice (which ended up being a really nice cocktail mixed together), some finger foods, and other important party favours.The picnic spread was topped up beautifully when @rea joined us around 4pm, when she brought some really nice M&S finger foods, and cocktails (thanks @rea! Glad you could make it). Also really glad we were able to celebrate her birthday with her a little bit!! Happy birthday again @rea <3

I was really glad some of my (non-steemian) friends were able to join us that day, especially when 2 of them weren't even originally planning to stay because they were meant to go on a date, but ended up staying from start to finish hahaha.. They were just having too much fun I guess, and I don't blame them, we are a fun bunch, as I always say ;)

Meetups like this are usually really casual and personal, and are always a great way to do some #promo-steem by bringing non-steemit friends, because it's a good chance for them to see steemians in their natural state ;) Thank you to all my lovely friends who joined us that day, you were all so fun to have around!

We got a few chances to play Cards against Humanity, which is a great icebreaker game to play in my opinion. I love playing it with quiet people, they almost always surprise you the most with the answers they pick :P Had to show this pic of one of my favourite card combos that day...

It's also always such a pleasure to be amongst some insanely talented people as long as you're comfortable being around a camera ;) People like @rod.crisafulli who always make top notch creative, crazy and fun videos of these meetups. You have to check out his video, it's another great video from the Rod. I love and appreciate his creative judgement, even if it's sometimes at my expense haha :P

Also got to meet @neocph this time, who came a bit later, he's another really cool vlogger/videographer, and he also made a really cool vid about the day. Neo, so glad you could join us (and find us!!), great to have you there :)

And of course, the @yasminep that I've heard so much about! Soooo nice to finally meet you, awesome to hear how involved you were in the Malaysian Steemit community, and hope you find your sweet spot here in our London one as well..

@ingaaa, thanks for organizing this, I had a super sweet time, and it was a decent turn out too, so many laughs and so many interesting conversations. We will do this again fo sho :)
