From an American prospective, some could argue that the WW3 started the day after WW2 ended, just as well. We have experienced a perpetual state of conflict, every decade, since the end of the second World War. What drives these conflicts? Look at history to see what changed, and who benefited from war as there were and continue to be some winners and losers involved. The cost is human blood which the wealthy politicians are more than willing to pay at the expense of the predominately lower-middle class population that constitutes the "all-volunteer" military force ... follow the money, and set your self free from the illusion.
