League of Legends Champion Review Starving Champion: Thresh
Thresh is a champion basically known for its hooking gameplay and saving montage wherein players demonstrate the essential role that support plays. Even though his looks are all scary more like a death god with his scythe but he Is a good guy and someday will save your leg too. Thresh can give great sets well depending on how players use him.
Before anything, lets look at his story first with my own reviews of his lore;
Thresh is said to be a twisted reaper who wields hungry chains that catches the souls of the living. If Thresh puts his sight on you, you will not escape! Hollow corpses are left in his wake, with their souls ripped trapped and loosed with its sickly green light of coming out of his lantern. This Chain Warden relish in its sadistic joy of tormenting his victims, before and even after its horrible death. He goes on with his task that is never completed, as he stalks the land for more spirits to enslave.
Thresh carefully carvers, and handpicks each and every one of his targets carefully, He devotes his full attention to every soul in turn. Isolating and toying with them, he gradually erodes their sanity with his maddening humor. When Thresh takes an interest in a soul, he never relent till he acquires it. He drags those captives back to the Shadow Isles for an horribly dreadful fate. This is his one and only purpose.
Very little is known about the Warden's past, with the details only in childrens' nursery rhymes and campfire stories. Whispers of a mad jailer from hundreds of years past who took delight in tormenting his wards. Without remorse and utmost brutality, he used a wide variety of methods to break each of his victims' minds and souls even before and even after their bodies gives up to his designs. Chains were the warden's instruments of terror. They mark his deadly approach and promised horror to those he wishes to visit. His reign went unchallenged till his prisoners escaped during a riot. Overwhelming him, and without remorse, hanged him from his own chains. Beginning the unlife of this horrible specter that will be known as Thresh, or so the tales go.
Thresh now roams the land, leaving a wave of horror and despair. but, there is a dark purpose behind his dark ways, and because the spirits of men are insufficient. He continues to seek stronger souls. And only when he has broken the wills of the Valoran's best warriors will he finally be contented.
Hooking is one of his essential skills that makes him a vital support though it takes some time to master but I assure you thresh can be unpredictable when it comes to hooking. Unlike Blitzcrank, thresh hook has a reaction time of 1 sec before he releases his hook that makes him unpredictable and unavoidable.
Thresh does not only hooks, but also saves by his third skill lantern or what you see in the picture that looks like a blackhole wherein he pulls his allied players back to him in an instant. This skill is a great life saver during clashes/team fights and can also be effective for chasing enemies and hooking them across the wall.
Mastering thresh is no easy task but I tell you, all your hard work will be rewarded once you get the skills and hooking techniques and saving strategies which is essential on team plays that will someday bring victory over your battles. Practicing team plays and hook is a must for it will increase your alertness and cooperation.
