League of Legends Ultimate Gameplay Tips (and how to find Duo players)...
When it comes to gameplay, League of Legends Duo is on another level. In fact, it’s so epic that some newcomers are daunted by the prospect of playing - something that is totally understandable given the amount of information they’ll quickly have to absorb. However, if you do find yourself in this boat then fear ye not, my friend, we’re here to help. In today’s piece, we’ll be delving into the world of League of Legends Duo (or LoL as it often called), and by providing you with our top tips for newbies, novices and those who just want to improve their gameplay experience. Enjoy!
Don’t worry about characters and positions (to begin with): To gain access to many of the gameplay options in League of Legends, you’ll have to reach at least level five. All gameplay and everything you prior to attaining level five is simply there to acquaint you with the game itself - break you in, if you will. So when you’re just beginning your League of Legends journey, don’t stress about characters (i.e. which character you should be) or worry about figuring out your best position. Instead, we suggest trying everything out to see what suits you and your gameplay style the best. If you do this, then you’ll likely find your niche within the first five levels and proceed to progress quickly as your gameplay time increases.
Use the mini-map frequently: If you are to be successful as League of Legends, then it is imperative that you’re entirely aware of both where you are and what is occurring around you. But it’s not only that - you must also keep a keen eye on off-screen developments, as this will help to reduce the risk of enemies sneaking up on you or anything else untoward happening. You need to have your own back!
Leave Jungling until later in the game: If there is one position that I would definitely deter novices from using, it’s juggling. Although it may be tempting to go for this straight away, in reality, it calls for much more skill, experience, in-game items and champions than pretty much all other positions in the game. Three of those four requirements can only be achieved through playing the game (a.k.a ‘game time’), so it’ll take a short while to build them up to the requisite levels.
Try new champions: The game itself is an absolute wealth of characters, gameplay experiences and everything else in-between. Of course, it is impossible to experience it all once, but that doesn’t mean that shouldn’t mix it up from time to time. It may be tempting to ‘stick to what you know’, but we highly recommend trying new champions every once in a while, i.e. give the one that’s on the free champion rotation a go each and every week. Hell, you might even find you enjoy it more than your regular character/champion!
Tell people you’re new: Many gamers are afraid to tell those they’re playing with that they’re new to the game - and this does seem to be a thing with League of Legends. It can be a little embarrassing telling other gamers, but it really is worth doing so! There are so many fantastic, experienced players that want to help the newcomers - so make use of their experience, skills and advice!
