(New ) Lion King.

Fascinating clip on the use of VR in the making of the (new) Lion King. When you think of a purely CGI film, you don't think of it as being directed in the traditional sense, but more through storyboards and animatics, so it cuts out the physical presence of the production crew. After all, the set doesn't physically exist. But in this case, the production crew was able to delve into a "multiplayer" virtual environment - so everyone was able to perform their normal functions as they would in reality. Neato!
