I love how Cleveland fans seem to have this false sense of entitlement. Why don’t people quit blaming the Dolans, and start looking at them selves!? The Indians have been one of the best teams in baseball over the past six years and still rank close to the bottom in attendance. The fact of the matter is, this was a necessary move. We would not be able to afford him at the end of the year and would have lost him and gotten nothing in return.
This way, we at least got some thing of value for him. Maybe if the “fans” Would actually start going to some games, we could afford to keep some of these players once they become free agents or start to command tens of millions in arbitration.

Great trade for both Ohio cities. If your a true fan get out and support our Indians, Don't blame the Dolan's, it's a business, let's see some sell out crowds down the stretch.
Completely fine with this move, we got a great return for someone who we couldn't afford long term and who would probably end up leaving by next season.
