Is social media weeding out the stupid people?

There seems to be a rash of narcissistic young people that will stop at nothing to get attention online. Obdulia Sanchez, 18, was livestreaming herself driving down the road with her 14 year old sister and her 14 year old friend when she flipped her car into a barbed wire fence ejecting her sister onto the side of the road. After the wreck, Sanchez is still livestreaming standing over her sister in shock. Drugs and/or alcohol are believed to have played a part.
Next we have Facebook suicides, cyberbulling, and jealous husbands/boyfriends. Social media is causing people to live in a fantasy land were they don't feel the consequences of their actions.
