All woman should work and be financially independent

Something really weird happened this week. My husband and I received an email from a mom that she was afraid that one of our friends was being abused by her husband.

The email was really heavy and we were stunned to receive it. What should we do?

We had never noticed anything and we really like her husband, but this email set doubt in our minds.

Now the point is not if she is being abused or not, the point is that it is really difficult to know if someone is. And the only thing we could do is go to our friend and ask if she needed any help.

Beforehand we called a dear friend wo is a psychologist and asked him what are the signs of an abusive relationship in this case a woman being abused ( in most cases anyway). And one of the most important parts is total dependence in a relationship of the woman in the man. Financially dependent on the man, and without a support network to go to ( friends and family). Also if you think that in western societies the woman get a lot of support from for instance police or hospital, than you are wrong. Police can do nearly nothing for woman that are married and get abused, unless they catch the man acting out violently, but still then he ends up at home a while later anyway.
And if you think that feminism is bullshit or you laugh at it, than you deny the woman that are not only treated unequally, but even abused.

The only way to lower abuse against woman is when woman become financially independent.
The only way for woman to get financially independent is through education.
The only way for educated woman to not get dependent is to work. Yes I said it, all woman should work and be financially independent. Learn and work. By the way I also think men should too.
