Fear is good
Being an adult can be intimidating when we have to weigh between doing something scared and not doing anything at all. We tend to bend towards not doing it at all because of the possibility of failure and also laziness. Excuses are inevitable. We require confidence to actually make a decision. When it's something we are running away from, we hide behind someone else for them to handle it and expect movement in our lives, the ostrich effect. Sadly, change is inevitable whether we like it or not, so do it scared. The desire for perfection and lack of that perfection can easily drown our minds with fear. As Henry Ford once said, “Whether you think you can, or think you can’t – you’re right.”
Scott Allan well states, "You have two choices: you can dream about it and do nothing to make it happen. Or, you can make it happen by doing something about it and then start to live your dream."
My favourite quote is, “F-E-A-R has two meanings: 'Forget Everything And Run'or 'Face Everything And Rise.' The choice is yours.” — Zig Ziglar
Taking responsibility is a journey towards ultimate joy and pure clarity. And whatever you are afraid of remember, everybody is scared.
Fail, laugh it out, then raise yourself up. It's a learning process. “I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying.”— Michael Jordan
'Embrace the limitless lifestyle that is yours to create.' - Scott Allan
Thank you, my dear reader,
For taking the time to sip some tea with me and cuddle to the unknown. I'll lay the firewood and you warm up in the teepee as we explore different encounters with life.
