Thanks to you, @oacevedo, for that familiar anecdotal reference that enriches the relationship with Allan Poe's famous poem with an affective note. I've never had an experience like that; it seems very significant to me, because it tells us about the reception that the poem could have had in an environment that was not strictly literary, but, at the same time, about the irradiation that it could have had in people like you, later dedicated to literature.
