Since the Litecoin ecosystem is yearning for growth and the ability to be more competitive with other cryptocurrencies, litecoin price hasn't grown much lately as you can see in chart litecoin price is like 28 USD in avrage.and here is why you should pay attention to litecoin.
Founder of Litecoin, Charlie Lee, tweeted Friday that he will no longer be working for Coinbase. He is Resigning from the company to focus on his brainchild creation, Litecoin. This news comes as a welcome surprise to the Litecoin community, who are entering into a new stage of advancement, as they recently elected to activate segregated witness.
He said, “today is my last day at @coinbase! I will miss working with you all. I am going to shift my focus to Litecoin now. To the Moon!”Lee’s entrance back onto the scene is an extraordinary event. It is perfect timing.With this happening, everyone in the community will likely look to Lee for guidance and wisdom. It will be interesting to see where Litecoin goes from here. Could it really be to the moon?
Really curious to see what will happen next to this coin. I have always expected it to be a permanent number two. But now that it has been surpassed by both ethereum and Zcash I'm really not sure sure whatt its future will be. But I do think it will still remain strong due to its successful implementation of lightning.
@Zcash is #2 and @ETH is a totally different animal. @LTC is a strong 4th.
Bitcoin to the moon, Ethereum to the moon, Litecoin to the moon - most likely will happen.

Let's hope you're right with the moonshot.
I'd love to see Litecoin doing better as it is purely a payment system like BTC.
It may be a nice less expensive gateway for those who haven't dabbled in the crypto's as of yet.
Assuming they heed your words and get in now.
The current movements are great for those of us who already own but are moving so quick it has the potential to make newbies yet to adopt to think they have missed out.
I had a colleague this morning lamenting that he'd missed out on BTH & ETH so I explained that they still have a small market cap in the big scheme of things.
II hope others realise that this is just the beginning and while there may be volatility, the trend is up , up and away.
