Because it has no real world use yet. It's not a platform or a service. Like BCH, it's as useful as monopoly money. My old baseball cards have more real value. And while we're at it let's be honest about bitcoin too. It's slow, bloated and expensive to use in denominations people want for everyday use. It needs a lot of improvement to go full mainstream.
True, you have a point there. I also prefer putting money in cryptos that have a service or product behind them, but what i like about ltc is that it a steady crypto. Personally i find it to be a safe investment as well as btc, which is in fact a gateway to purchase other cryptos. I believe that they can be used as mainstream currency as long as the transaction times are sped up.

I think so. Ltc is fast and I am waiting for atomic swaps.
Not yet. These late Aug gains are mostly from BTC sellers looking for a safe stable place to lay low for awhile. In my opinion.
