I think we all have been excited about litecoin at one time or another if your in the cryptocurrency world.

Where was Litecoin this time last year?

Last year at this time Litecoin was peaking $4.00. July 10, 2016 it was sitting at $4.12 with a solid week of negatives. Marketcap was 191,824,615! Currently at 50.94 that is a over 1000% increase approximately 1 YEAR!

Congratulations to whoever else grabbed it while it was early.

Will Litecoin hit $200?

There has been so much speculation over Litecoin over the last few months on whether it will have the means to battle Ether in price. We have seen incredible increase before in the past. So why not now? In order for Litecoin to be the same price as Ethereum it has to jump to a 10,374,861,400 Market Cap, sitting at over 2Bln right now. Do you think its possible?

Litecoin will come with 150 premined coins just the genesis block and the first 2 blocks to confirm the genesis is valid. They believe a coin needs to be released in a fair manner. Having one person (or a group) control a large amount of coins that can be used as they see fit is against the decentralized vision of Bitcoin. Coin Generation:

Miners will generate 50 coins per block. In faster blocks, to properly mimic Bitcoin's generation trajectory, they needed to change the blocks at which coin generation is halved. Bitcoin generation is halved every 210,000 blocks. Litecoin generation will be halved every 840,000 blocks. For those of you doing the math, Litecoin is scheduled to produce roughly 4 times as many coins as Bitcoin, about 84 million litecoins in total.

Will it ever hit a price of $1000.00 USD?
