Wireless hacking airgeddon- Part 1 - setup the Hardware and Software

im gonna be using a newer version of parrot air. ParrotOS. which is my everyday OS because its NOT ubuntu , its easy being debian based, and quick and stable on my 10 dollar cracktooth laptops..

First ! - lets make sure our laptop has 2 wifi cards . ~~but mine only has one , should i get a usb one ? YES and NO ..
mostly no . remember our pcie bus has much less latency than a usb port. so im gonna show you something i learned that was pretty rad ...

You most definitely have a half sized wifi-card ... and nothing is going to hold you short PCI express card into the slot ACCEPT !
some hot glue...

A tip here is to rip off the label and allow some of the hot glue to seep into one of grounding holes on the pcb.
This will allow better adherence for the glue and card.
as you can see on the LEFT . i added in a second PCIe WiFi card and have been useing it like that for months.

i like old bulky hardware , its big enough to use for self-defence or to break a car windshield (road rage), linux has had enough time to mature its open source drivers for it too... we dont do proprietary around here. unless we wanna play video games.. the thing i live about my "Craptop" is that i have 3 pci slots. so i got the last one open for yet another card.

lets add in a 3rd pcie wifi card.

Now we have the blue antenna wire to deal with.. just clip the blue wire onto the terminal that is marked (black)"main"

OR we can get LOUD !!! and give our reception BIGGER EARS.

most antenna transmit just a watt of power. IN ALL DIRECTIONS . (i will show you how to "overamp" ur wificard later) so to keep the math simple and our chipsets fcc compliant.
we need to employ a directional antenna . this will allow the best utilization and distancing of our signal range.

just a matter of physics here like a parabolic microphone works so does a directional antenna.
you should purchase a cheap small do-ditty like this , but you can always spend more for just little more gain.

the end of the ANT cord is a SMA connector.. so we need an adapter to connect to our internal card.

simple drill a hole into the side of your laptop and use the locknut on the sma connector to secure the brassy piece.

HARDWARE DONE !...

Software next--->
Install ParrotOS they have a great version called parrot Air for just such an endeavor .

IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO INSTALL LINUX.. just upvote me for daps and find some linux install tutorials to learn how to install an OS... me personally . my laptop doesnt have a hard drive i simply use a usb stick.
make a dvd iso . and install to ur drive.
