But I say to you: Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.
Good morning community steemit, I like to talk about this topic, the word of God is very clear and radical and we get blessings from those people who manage to live in holiness; but how do you call yourself a saint if you do not fulfill it?
If you do not fulfill the commandments of God, you are wrong and even if you want to make others see that you are a good person and it turns out that you do not love your enemies, you are living a double life that does not please God.
One of the commandments that the Lord sends us is to love your brother, friend, and principally your enemy.
It is easy for any of us to say that you love your brother, your neighbor who does you good or your unconditional friend, all that is easy.
But are you really prepared to love that person who insults you or who provokes you to hit and insult?
I believe that many of us are not prepared for that, we must be in holiness to simply love without conditions and without expecting anything in return so they insult you or hit you.
Fulfilling a commandment of God and faithfully fulfill his word is courageous, it is not about not having feelings or blood in the veins, it is about being covered and clothed in the Blood of Christ because he strengthens us.
We live with people around us who according to their mood become aggressive and go through life looking for the way to attack to feel brave and see how they do to be in a constant fight and provocation.
God called us to peace, to love, to understand to tolerate your enemy and to be strong in the face of adversity.
Before aggressive and conflictive people, we must be smarter and not let ourselves be provoked by their anger.
Your enemy will always provoke anger in you, but it is in you not to leave you and rather to fill you with that love that God asks us to have before them.
Loving your brother treats you badly, your friend even betrays you, your enemy hurts you, it is not easy but it is not impossible either, because if you have Christ in your heart and every day you fall more in love with God. Do not let the adversities of daily life make you walk and fall into provocations.
We must be an example for our children and educate them according to the will of Two (instruct their children in the word of God) is nice when our children know and respect others because they are the values we have taught them since childhood.
But I say to you: Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.
I had always found this a hard thing to do until I read a book and study guide by Ted Dekker called The Forgotten Way. In it, he explains the truth of who I am as a child of God. With Him in me, I am complete and I do not need to fear anyone or anything. Often, anger is our response to fear. When we don't have any fear, we can love the way God intended us to; like He does!
When we have God in our hearts in an authentic way, everything is easy because you forget the bad things and only remember the good, our Jesus was stoned, whipped, spit and he only knew how to love and he was 100% MAN AND 100% GOD so he also suffered pains like any human, if he could we can also in his forces love our enemy.
