Thank you for subscribing. You're all incredible. I'm thrilled and humbled at the same time.
Today I went to the Pura Ulun Datu temple (hindu temple). On the way I stopped at the Sangeh Monkey Forest.
There's around 700 monkeys roaming around the forest. It's a cool place to check out and probably less crowded that the Ubud's monkey forest.
Make sure not to touch the monkeys or try to tease them in any way. I dodged two attacks today. The first one was my fault, as I went too close with my iPhone pointing at one of the monkeys. I tried to take a pictures but I guess it got scared by the iPhone and started running towards me, with its mouth wide open. My heart stopped for a second there. I took two steps back and eventually the monkey decided to leave me alone.
The second close attack was weird. I mounted my DSLR on a gorilla pod, and I could tell right away the monkeys did not like it. They feared my gorilla (haha). So... Momma monkey took her baby, brought it to safety, and came back for me :D It jumped on a fence and started screaming. The scream was a signal for other monkeys to kinda get ready and eat me up. I turned around with a calm head and just got the fuck out of there. :D

I think we plan on staying in Ubud or near there. Kuta doesnt sound like our type of place anymore. Maybe 10 years ago :)
